Singing Men of Texas

The Singing Men of Texas (SMOT) is composed of men who serve or have previously served in various music-related capacities at Texas Baptist churches and institutions.  Dr. Bill Clark has been a part of this group for the past several years and looks forward to their upcoming concert season.

This highly professional group presents eight concerts a year from September through May. They have sung in missions around the world, inspiring audiences in England, China, Australia, Romania, Spain, Brazil and the Czech Republic.  Local concerts are free and open to the public. All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m.

January 14 – Terrell Performing Arts Center, Terrell (Phil Alford, host)

February 11 – First Baptist Church, Stephenville (Michael Beaty, host)

March 4 – Dual Concerts at Southmont Baptist Church, Denton (Larry Newberry, host) and First Baptist Church, Bedford (Larry Collins, host)

April 15 – Pilgram Chapel at Dallas Baptist University, Dallas (Ed Spann, host)

April 19-30 - International Mission Concert/Preaching Tour with Michael Gott

May 6 – The Heights Baptist Church, Richardson (Trent Blackley, host)
